How can I benefit from the Top Weekly 20 stocks

I must be misunderstanding something. If the 20 stocks were the top gainers last week, how will that help me if I buy them this week? There is no way of knowing if the stocks will continue to rise. Also, buying 20 stocks each Monday and selling them each Friday is a lot of buying and selling. I would like to have some actually examples of what happens to the Top Weekly Stocks for the next 2 to 4 weeks to see what really happens to the 20 Top Weekly Stocks

HI there,

First - let's clarify something. The top 20 are NOT the top gainers of the last week. They are the Top 20 stocks as of end of week (End of day Friday) based on our proprietary algorithm. We release the results on Sunday - so there is no delay in the information. Sure, Monday's open will fluctuation (to the up or downside) but in general, if they are in the Top 20 they usually stay there for a bit until there is a big run up in share price or something has fundamentally changed.

If you click on any of the historical Top 20 weeks, you will see their performance to date. So we continue to track the Top 20 for medium term. One trend we have noticed is that the Top 20 tends to outperform in the long run and can underperform over the short term. Granted lately, it has been doing both. Also important to note, since the Top 20 is based on our Growth screener it also outperforms in a bull market and underperforms in a bear or volatile market. This is the nature of growth stocks.
