In relation to DRDR's mangement, there is not much to go off of but there are two notable tidbits.
- From their risk section: " MCI’s senior management team have had limited experience in managing a publicly-traded entity" . This doesn't mean they are a bad team or anything, it just means they are not used to public scrutiny, sharholders and expectations. Not all successful private management teams successfully transition to effective management teams of a public companie.
- The company's Co-chairs "previously founded Altima Dental, which has grown to over 100 clinics across six provinces, with over 1,000 healthcare practitioners and staff, making it one of the largest network of partner-owned dental clinics in Canada." This is a good thing as it shows they have experience with scaling clinic operations. I have no idea if Altima Dental is a financial success, but at the very least they have experience scaling at a national level across different provinces.
Several also have links to Globalive Technology (LIVE on TSXV), which recently underwent a reverse takeover with a CBD company. From that I can tell, that company didn't do much and never generated any revenue and its share price performance was abysmal - so nothing that shows strength there. There is also a smattering of expertise at different financial institutions (holding companies, hedge funds, etc) but nothing that really stands out.
Overall, I'd say this is very much an unproven management team. This doesn't mean they won't be successful, many unproven teams have proven to be stars. Unfortunately, the reverse is also true.
