THis is really a personal decision. Does BIP fit within the context of your portfolio? Worth nothing this is by no means a done deal. IPL came out with a statement against the offer saying that it does not reflect the intrinstic value of the company. Personally, I am likely going to sell out of my position. Not because i don't like BIP, but because I don't need it for my portfolio and would rather deploy that cash to a need within the context of my portfolio.

So really, it all boils down to your portfolio. At this point however, nothing is firm so things can change.

In terms of BIP, i think it is a good move for them - if they can get it. They are effectively being predatory here and trying to pickup an asset on the cheap.
