Is EDV worth looking at due to its soon to be listed on the LSE and its seemingly solid financials?

A number of financial companies have raised EDV’s estimate by $18 to $28 ($47 -$57). I was just thinking that maybe the LSE listing was going to be the catalyst to move the price/

WhHi there,

While listing on the LSE is certain to help volume, it doesn't necessarily mean it will be a catalyst to the upside. Listing on a more notable exchange does only one thing - increase liquidity and leads to more coverage. That also comes with more pressure to deliver.

That being said, EDV is a solid company and was a mainstay n our Top 20 for a number of weeks last fall. It has a nice organic production growth profile and attractive margins. It also introduced its first dividend last quarter and has plenty of room to raise it given the company is likely to enter a period of strong cash flow generation. Its on pace to meet guidance and trades what i would say are decent valuations. Not cheap - not expensive.

I wouldn't buy it simply because of the LSE listing, buy it because it has a decent growth profile and trades at decent valuations.
