Is the new EAT Beyond Global Holdings Inc. (EATS:CSE) IPO too speculative at this point?

Would investing in EATS:CSE be less volitale than investing in VERY?

Yeah, that IPO is going public on the CSE - which is even more speculative than TSX Venture and not one that we would cover. It is also worth noting that it is an investment company, so it holds stakes in companies that operate in the sector. It is a holding company - which are not my personal favourite. I doubt it would be less volatile than VERY - in fact it may be more volatile. Usually, the actual holdings themselves outpeform the holdcos.

Here is a news release on the holdings they will have: https://www.newswire.ca/news-releases/eat-beyond-global-holdings-to-commence-trading-on-the-cse-under-the-symbol-eats--831057519.html

It begins trading tomorrow and it might catch a bid due to the sector interest, but I'd exert extreme caution here.
