Kirkland Lake Lawsuit

Hey,

I was just wondering about the Lawsuit associated with Kirkland Lake, and why it never seems to get mentioned anywhere or during analysis? Does it not really matter or affect new investors? Does it not have an impact on the long term potential of the company?

Thanks

Hi there,

We view the lawsuit as immaterial. Many companies are faced with lawsuits after a sudden drop in price - these lawsuits are predatory and rarely have any long-term impact on the company. This is why we do not talk about it - we believe it to be immaterial.

There are certain cases where lawsuits are worthy of investors interest, but not in this case. If you read up on KL's coverage by other analyst, the lawsuit is also rarely mentioned. We have no concerns here.
