Lithium vs Batteries

Everyone is talking about lithium but what about the batteries that use the Lithium. Tesla has their batteries made by Panasonic and most are others are overseas. Are their any promising battery manufacturers this side of the pond that look promising ?

Hey Eric,

I'm not aware of any EV battery makers here in Canada. At least, not any legit ones. There are a few very speculative stocks that are in the space like ACDC and EFL but they are very volatile and are either pre-revenue (ACDC) or don't generate enough (EFL) to really be considered promising. I mean they are both very speculative and you can tell just by looking at their charts.

I'd say EFL is the more mature company and it did recently announce a battery supply agreement with Vicinity Motors but that is a small bus company at this point. I wouldn't necessarily invest in either of them at this point myself, simply because it doesn't fit within my risk profile. But if i was going to chose one, it would be EFL (Electrovaya). Just be prepared for BIG volatility and if you are lucky enough to get a run up, it is one I would definitely look at booking profits on early. Both of these are likely to move quickly in bullish and bearish environments.
