how do these CDRs work? are they worth a buy? Why don’t they offer dividends? will they do so in the future? Why are they on the NEO stock exchange?

Hey there. CDR's are certainly worth the buy if you don't want to exchange currency to USD. I own a few of them, AMZN, GOOG, DIS. I keep a certain percentage of my portfolio in USD and I own some US stocks that way (LMT, HD, SBUX, BLK, ATVI) but otherwise I buy the CDR's if they are available.

They do pay dividends, equivalent to what you would receive if you owned the US stock itself. And in terms of the NEO, this is simply the exchange that CIBC has partnered with to offer them.
