New positions in Millennial Moderate portfolio

Hey guys!

Firstly, I love the content and everything you each provide! Amazing work! I apologize if this is answered somewhere but I am just curious as to why you sold half position in SHOP and change it to TSX REAL and TSX WELL in the Millennial Moderate portfolio? I have owned SHOP for many years and from a lot of the reports/analysts I have read it seems SHOP will have another stellar year. Do you feel SHOP may not grow as much? Do you believe there are better growth opportunities with REAL and WELL?

Thank you!

Hey there.

Keep in mind, we're still huge fans of Shopify. Actually, if you check the Millennial Aggressive portfolio, we kept our allocation up high and didn't sell off shares.

However, in the Millennial Moderate, we weren't comfortable having that large of an allocation towards Shopify. The sell off had nothing to do with the quality of company Shopify is, it was more just a rebalancing so that we weren't so overweight on a single equity. Now the stock makes up a still high, but comfortable allocation at 10.4%.

In terms of REAL and WELL, we're fans of both companies long term prospects and forward growth potential. Real Matters has been dipping in price for some time now, and we figured it was the perfect time to add.

Of note, Mat owns WELL SHOP and REAL, and I own REAL.

Our positions in Real Matters were taken after it was placed on the Bull List.
