Hey there. We haven't quite launched it yet. It's close, but not finalized.
A Discord server is essentially a chat room that uses the Discord platform. From there, members will be able to communicate between each other, and with us.
The platform is completely optional, and will change nothing about how Premium runs now. But, the delivery of information on the platform will be much faster.
This is to be expected. Obviously with us having to write, draft and send e-mails, it's going to be quicker for us to relay information via a live chat area. Again, I reiterate though, we will still be sending the e-mails. Nothing will change about Premium.
This is just us continuing to adapt to the way people are digesting information these days. Discord has exploded in popularity, and I really think in 4-5 years time, you won't find too many platforms who don't operate a Discord server.
