NFTs and StockTrades - Stocktrades Canada

Did I miss the boat?
I did most of the StockTrades NFT course but then got too busy to do much with it. I have not yet purchased a wallet but will review the course and consider it. I do not recall if you recommended any particular wallet(s) in the course but if not can you?

As well, I am thinking that the plan is to move a StockTrades Membership to an NFT that renews at the price each member originally joined at. Would I be on the right track?
Then, because it is an NFT, I imagine I would be able to sell my NFT membership to someone else, for any agreed upon price, and that ‘New’ member would benefit from my original membership price moving forward (and I would be without membership). Again, am I on the right track?

I think there was some sense of urgency in your discussions regarding getting a wallet and being able to take advantage of the StockTrades NFT. Have I missed the boat or is there still time?

Last but not least, technology is ever changing and I am wondering will I be investing money now in something that will be useless/obsolete in 1 year from now, in 5 years from now (more the idea of the wallet not the Stocktrades membership)? I did once purchase a Betamax player/recorder.

Also, I remain a fan of Q&A and ‘not a fan’ of Discord but maybe Discord has gotten better (less busy, less noisy) over time. If you have anything to add on that feel free.

Hey there ,

Nope, not too late. In the course itself, we recommend both a crypto exchange (Bitbuy) and Wallet (MM). To access that portion of the course here is a direct link.

You are 100% on the right track with your thinking. The only caveat, is that we are making this optional for Premium members, it is absolutely not required to do so.

The most important thing we need right now is your MetaMask wallet address - which you will get and understand when you complete module I linked to above. When you are done that, fill in this google form with your information. The address we are looking for is that MetaMask wallet (long string of numbers and letters that starts with 0x)

This is why we made it optional. There are some that believe the technology will be a fad, others (like ourselves) believe it is the future. Depending on where you sit on the spectrum, is likely how you will decide to participate or not. I should note, even it it all does go bye, bye - doesn't really impact Premium in any way. We still provide the same service, and our price is still locked in if ever NFT technology goes obsolete. That is highly unlikely since that would mean the blockchain would need to go obsolete.

In terms of Discord, it certainly does take some getting used to, but still the best place to get access to information quickly. For NFT updates, Discord is certainly best but again, this Q&A isn't going anywhere.
