Hello Dan, was looking at the screener and Novo Nordksk find his way to the top pick with a 75 stocktrades grade. It is on a down slope for quite a while now with valuation seem to be more and more interesting. Can you tell me what you think of it ? It is also available in a CRD with the loonie price right now it could be a good option. Thank you for your help!

Novo Nordisk is a company that will very likely pop up on the screener as a high ranked company because of the quality of its operations. It is an outstanding operator that is going through a bit of difficulty right now do to some intense competition, regulatory issues, and some stumbling in recent clinical trials.

The screener is best utilized as a starting tool to identify strong companies, and then from there we can do a bit of digging ourselves. The pharma industry is one I generally look to avoid, after being stung a bit by Pfizer. The entire situation south of the border when it comes to competition in regards to weight loss drugs, plus the amount of heat placed on pharma companies for their pricing structures etc, plus just the overall growth of distrust towards them leads me to avoid the sector altogether.
