I do not see NUVEI in your Growth Bull List. Why? What do think about this company. I bought some shares and I am thinking of buying more.

Do you understand well the difference between what NUVEI does compare to Lightspeed? Would you please explain?

Thanks a lot!

Merci Mathieu! Lots of details on NVEI vs LSPD!

At this price (76$), do you think I should add to my position in NVEI?

Hi Claude,

NVEI only IPO'ed this past August, and we likely won't add any new IPOs to the Bull List since they are considerably volatile. Doesn't mean NVEI may not eventually be added to our list, but likely won't be until it can establish a history of execution as a publicly-listed company.

WOrth noting, we did highlight NVEI's undervaluation as compared to peers (such as LSPD) when we first brought the IPO to investors attention this past summer. I ended up taking a position in the company and will be holding it for the long term.

Although both are payment companies, at a high level they do operate in fairly different industries. LSPD is focused on small-to-mid sized businesses in the retail and restaurant industries and recently has been expanding into the gold industry. They also provide on-site point-of-sale (POS) platform.

In NVEI's case, they are actually a much bigger company than LSPD. It was the largest private fintech company in Canada before it went public and has scale on its side. NVEI is moreso focused on merchants in the travel, retail, and financial areas. Notably, it is also making significant inroads and is one of the largest payment processors in the online gambling and sports betting market which is proving to be a nice growth market. This is especially true in light of recent legalization in the U.S. and the potential for the same in Canada.

Lightspeed is smaller and more focused, while NVEI is much larger ans has many more verticals. Both are up-and-coming companies in the global payments landscape.

Mat
