Options Trading

In this time of restrictions and having more free time on your hands, I’ve developed an interest in learning the subtleties of options trading. However, a quick look at the options (pun intended) shows a lot of untrustworthy people to learn from. Expensive courses and return promises. I’m more interested in just pure learning, and only if I get any good at it would I stake any real money on it.

Do you have, or know of any reputable sources for learning options trading? Do either of you use options to pad your income?

Thanks!

Hey there Daniel.

We've actually got a piece on covered call options coming up really soon here at Premium.

I sell covered calls to pad income all the time, and a ton of members have been asking for a piece on it, so we're going to write it!

In terms of other options strategies, I really wouldn't recommend any of them. They're extremely high risk, and it's essentially gambling. We won't teach any of those strategies here, but considering covered calls have limited risk (and limited upside), it's a great way for investors to earn a little more, and speculate a little bit with low risk.

Stay tuned!
