I just do not understand pre-trade in Canada? In the US you can …as long as you have a broker Like Webull? Is there a broker in Canada that does the same? I keep picking the stocks but .. in pre trade the price just sky rockets .. thus no point in buying the stock until it goes down ,, I do not chase stocks period

Hey there! Have a look at this article. I'm not sure if you're with Questrade

There's just no after-hours trading on the TSX. I believe there is a very short time period where you can enter orders, but I'd have to look deeper. I've never got involved with after hours trading here because it's practically non existent.

What we may look to do is push our Top 20 back to say Saturday morning so that investors at least have time to put in limit orders on some stocks they want.

It's becoming a growing frustration for investors because of how our Top 20 has outperformed recently, and we're working on a solution.

However, although it doesn't seem like it because it has outperformed every single week since early March. There IS situations where these stocks will start the week lower, and as a result you'd have lost money to start the week. It's not ALWAYS a guarantee these are going to gap higher in the mornings.
