PSYK Price - Stocktrades Canada

In anticipation of the new ETF this week, I’m thinking back to the hyped IPO’s over the last year and the ridiculous explosion in price at opening. Is this something we could see with an ETF or does it have a set open price based on holdings? I note Mat and Dan both plan on buying – just wondering if you’ll be putting in for a buy that morning, or if you’ll be watching to see where it opens and then deciding…

▲ 0 ▼ ✔	Private answer Hi there, Can't speak for Dan - but I am not sure yet! I may or may not place a buy at open, haven't quite decided how to attack this. It is difficult without knowing NAV. I know whatever I do, it will be a speculative positions in the sense that I plan on only take a partial position at the start and it will be with speculative cash (cash i'm prepared to lose).
