Selling covered calls

Do you like the strategy of selling covered calls to generate extra monthly income on low volatility stocks? I know there’s the risk that I’d have to sell my shares if the strike price is exceeded but I would accept that risk.

Hey there. I used to sell covered calls all the time. With Stocktrades and our Premium end taking up the vast majority of my time now I don't do it anymore, but it's a great way to make some extra income in your portfolio.

The reward is capped obviously to your option premium, but the risk is also capped considering you're covering your position.

And yes, you just need to be prepared to sell your positions if you have to.
