Should I sell AQNA?

Hi Guys”
I read that AQNA is going to get hit with about a $44 to 55 M payment because they are in Texas. I have the preferred reit. Should I sell it and then see how it does or what do you think?

Hi Daisy,

Yes, AQN announced it expects to take a $55M hit to earnings as a result of the Texas storm. This is a one-time, short-term event and in our opinion does not warrant selling the stock. In fact, we'd consider it a buying opportunity if the company dips in a meaningful way. The long-term investment thesis in AQN doesn't change so unless there is a need for the cash today, then we are staying the course. Of note, I own AQN and have zero intentions of selling.
