I am still pretty confident in the future of Granite. I haven't added any in a bit simply due to the sentiment among REITs overall but the company has strong FFO growth, a rock solid distribution payout ratio, and a very high-quality basket of industrial properties.
I think the slowdown in the economy has ultimately left them trading a little flat as demand for industrial space continues to slow down, but I don't believe this will be a permanent issue.
In my opinion, Granite is a higher quality REIT than Dream.
I'm utilizing patience here, although it is frustrating to see the lack of returns. But the underlying company continues to perform well.
