suncor update?

Continuing to hold Suncor. It's really struggling to keep up with the recovery of peers IMO and CNQ year to date, but I feel it does have some room to run upwards. I'm willing to be patient with this one, as it has a very small allocation in my total portfolio. Oil companies are very likely going to post some strong earnings in 2021, and I feel selling now might be an error.

That being said, further shutdowns and spread of the COVID-19 variants does have the potential to put oil stocks back in the tank again if demand were not to resurface. The world needs to get back to normal before these companies can truly start thriving.

All in all, I still plan to hold, and will look to offload Suncor in the next year or so, depending on the reaction due to a very likely strong 2021.
