QETH.U is being brought to the market by the same group who brought the first Bitcoin ETF BTCH.U to the markets. The intent is the same, to track the price of they cryptocurrency Ethereum. If you like this crypto, than this ETF would be a good way to gain exposure without the hassle of buying and selling crypto. I didn't receive an option to participate in the offering through my broker, not sure if other brokers are participating but it may not be available to retail investors.
It is expected to begin trading on the TSX Thursday, at which time you will be able to buy and sell on the open market.
