Been holding for a few years now and the stock has been a little stagnant but seems to continue having producing positive results. Thanks for your input!

The company is solid. Free cash flow generation remains strong and overall, it is trading at a relatively attractive valuation.

I think right now the oil and gas sector is just undergoing a lack of investor sentiment, and money that is flowing into the sector right now is primarily to the majors (Canadian Natural, Suncor, Imperial Oil)

I believe Whitecap is discounted in price at this level ,but it's really hard to tell when investor sentiment will return to the sector.

I think the company would do well to execute a buyback plan considering the value of its shares at this point in time. It just announced a plan back in July to buy back 10%~ of total share outstanding. Historically, the company has opted for a large dividend payout over share buybacks, but I believe with shares this cheap, buybacks will be the better return for investors.

A firm hold in my opinion. One investors will need to be patient with.
