Absolutely. One is an oil producer and the other is a pipeline. Although these are both energy companies, they are from very different industries inside that sector.

Another example I could think of is asking if you can own Royal Bank and Intact Financial. They are both "financial" companies, but one is a bank and the other is an insurance company. Fine to hold together.
