Hey there,
We still like the company and it hasn't really made too many statements on the recent issues. The company is expected to release quarterly results in early April, so we'd expect to get much more commentary then. Until then, these are events that are somewhat outside of the company's control.
It has been rumoured that the company paid the hacking company 22M to retrieve its assets, but that hasn't been confirmed. UNH did announce yesterday that services will be up by March 18. Considering the hack occurred on Feb21, that is pretty much a month of down operations and that'll certainly impact the company financially. That said, this is a one-time thing and just like every other company hit by cyberattacks, they'll eventually sort it out.
It is just unfortunate that this came on the heels of the DOJ investigation. I am more interested on comments from the company in this respect but we may not get much given the sensitive nature of things. That said, many companies have been subject to DOJ investigations that may lead to a fine and so forth. We'll just have to wait and see.
