Vanguard ETF’s

Hi there,
Back to ETF’s.
My question is about Vanguard Canada ETF’s. It looks like they’re lowest cost in terms of management, fees, and with their US counterpart manage well ovet 6 trillion dollars in funds. Vanguard Canada ETF’s are also traded in almost all do-it-yourself Canadian investing institutions and major brokerage firms. I got this recommendation through Alexander Greene, a well respected US investement manager and author of a best seller.
What do you guys think of Vanguard compared to the ARK ETF’s you presented recently?
And by the way, Dan, I took your advice and bought KIrkland Lake stocks. Thanks for good advice.

No problem in regard to Kirkland Lake. Just remember, although it's performed very well over the last little bit, it's a stock that should be bought with a long term mentality.

In terms of Vanguard compared to ARK, I really need to know WHICH Vanguard ETFs you're speaking of, because there are so many of them. Dividend ETFs, growth ETFs, value ETFs etc. Vanguard really does it all.

Whereas ARK (or Emerge here in Canada) is more focused on disruptive growth. This is why you'll see them with ETFs like their innovation ETF ARKK, their space ETF ARKX, their genomic etf ARKG etc.

Of note, you'll also pay much more in terms of fees for ARK ETFs, as they are actively managed. Whereas most of Vanguard's ETFs are passively managed and have much lower fees like I showed you in the previous question.

Anything else, feel free to ask.
