What are the best ETF’s for my RRSP’s

I’m only a couple years out from making any more contributions to my RRSP’s and would of course like to max my returns as much as possible… My positions are conservative and I’m okay to stay low to medium risk. Currently getting about a 9% return, wondering if I should be glad to be getting that or is there some potential for a little bit more. I am playing a small amount of funds in stocks outside of the RRSP’s, so far building a good portfolio focused more so on yield, but also growth, looking to produce a little hedge fund to offset COA down the road.

The ETF's I hold now are focused toward equity and fixed income, balanced about 65% Can, 25% US and the remaining portion global. In my stock holdings I have mostly financial, energy, industrial, and utility with a small mix of consumer and telecom. Basically nothing in Tech, Health, or Materials but have recently made a couple of small plays into the Material groups and will continue given that there looks to be some good value buys right now. What do you think, Tech and Health Care, would that be a good place to go for an ETF and help round out my holdings?

Hey there,
If you are averaging 9% annually - that is really good return, above average and index beating returns. I'd not complain about that level of performance.
In terms of ETFs - there are so many it is near impossible to rhyme of which ones would be best for your situation. Since everyone has a unique investor provile, goals, portfolio holdings, etc - we can't rhyme off a bunch of ETFs. If you provide us with an idea of what industry or index you are looking at, we can probably more effectively provide you with some ideas.
