Hey there,
Pretty sure you are referring to PLAS on the CSX? Not sure where you are getting your 200% from, but according to my data it is up 30% since it went public at the end of August. Of note, this was the result of a reverse takeover, which is a quicker way to market vs a traditional IPO - not a fan of reverse takeovers myself.
I don't have much of an opinion on it outside of the fact that it is a very speculative play. Any stock listed on the CSX is not subject to the strict reporting standards of the TSX and TSXV, so that alone is important to understand as it carries additional risk. The company is also pre-revenue/earnings, which means it will likely need several capital raises over the next few years as it aims to prove its technology.
Not that the company's tech won't ultimately be successful, but this is certainly a long-term play and one I would consider speculative at best. Typically, I don't invest in such companies as more often than not, these early-stage companies with exciting tech don't pan out. Every once in a while, one will emerge with a viable product, but those cases are a rarity. All in all, if you are comfortable with a speculative position, all the best. Just note that investing in these types of companies should match your risk profile.
