What to Sell?

Hello,
I just bought a house and need to sell some stocks in the next 1 to 2 weeks. Then I will need to sell more stocks in 3 months when the house closes. Some I will keep.
I would love to hear input from both Dan and Matt on some that you personally would sell now, or sell in 3 months or keep. I will have to sell most by mid June.

I am planning to keep these dividend stocks. ENB CPX APR.UN BGI.UN

I probably wouldn’t sell VET REAL or XBC because of the huge losses I would incur.

The stocks I am debating what to do with are.
NFI
WELL
DOC
PTQ
GRN
GDNP
AT
BEP.UN
LNR
CWX

I also own many American stocks but I know your focus is Canadian.
JD
BABA
FB
CRWD
DIS
ADSK
COUP
PINS
NET
FVRR
NVDA
QCOM
Ai
SQ
ABNB

Thank you!

Hey there. Your Canadian portfolio, if that is all it contains, is very growth heavy. It may be tough sledding in the short term with the market conditions we're seeing.

But, I do like most of them. PTQ I have not investigated much with it being a small cap bio company on the Venture.

You've got some great companies in some emerging industries, Good Natured, Greenlane, Well Health and CloudMD for example. In fact, I just added WELL today.

But just note that these companies are far from established, and there can be significantly volatility in their share prices. This is why I try to make these more speculative plays anywhere from 1-3% of my total portfolio.

I would happy to get your opinion on some of the Canadian stocks.
Which is these stocks do you feel will out perform and which won't. Even if you only touch on a few of them.
Thanks

Hey there, this is something we really don't like to answer. We don't mind providing individual opinions on stocks, research, suggesting a direction or shortlist of options, providing stocks we feel have the potential to outperform etc.

But complete portfolio design and in your case what seems to be an overhaul, is just something we would never directly comment on. And it's not because we're not capable of doing so, it just wouldn't be the best thing for members.

Highlighting buy/sell transactions on what we would do is based on our goals, risk tolerances, portfolio make ups etc. We have absolutely no idea about financial positions, long term goals, risk tolerances etc of members. So for us to say "You should sell stock ABC and keep XYZ" isn't the best way to go about things.
