If you mean you need the money in 6 months, I wouldn't suggest any sort of equity exposure. Obviously you are free to do what you want but in my opinion any money that has to be touched in the short-term should not be placed in equities.

Right now I am storing my USD cash in UBIL.U. This is a Global X fund that invests in short-term treasuries that have 1-3 month maturities. It pays around a 4.5% yield and pays out monthly. US Treasuries are effectively the "risk free" rate of return, being guaranteed by the US Federal Reserve. So there is next to 0 risk in terms of underlying capital being lost.
