Which News media do you use? Example Morning News Call … Bloomberg …

Hi everyone … when looking at the market and how things are going WHO do you believe?
It drives me nuts listening to Bloomberg and their Market Call program when most of the people they interview do not even have skin in the game on the stocks they like .. and they keep getting the same callers calling in .. its laughable some days .. It seems like a sales scam and they all have a disclaimer basically stating you pay the money you take your chances … I get it .. but when searching the shark invested waters … which ones do you use and why? Thanks? Believe me I know we all have to use more than one and then read the company’s bottom lines but there must be some better than others. And then when can always ask you … still ..

Hi Carl,

I don't watch a ton - mostly read. But I do stay on top of BNN Bloomberg, WSJ, Globe & Mail and Financial Post. I also set alerts for myself through my brokerage (or the company itself) to receive news items right to my email. There is no perfect stock news site. Find the ones you like, but still do your own due diligence.

I also use Twitter quite a bit. There are a lot of key people you can follow - those you trust - and see what they post and comments. They will also often link to articles and videos of interest. Actually, I'd probably say Twitter is my go-to for most 'news' related type of information now. I didn't like the platform at first, but now i find it incredibly useful.
