Wishpond Technologies (WISH)

An early stage SaaS company that recently IPOed in Dec 2020. Recent quarter had record revenue/profit.
Understand it is still an early company but looks to have potential in the tech/SaaS space in Canada.

Looking for opinion/insight.

So, this is actually a company I've been pretty interested in. Just because we use a lot of lead generation style stuff to acquire Premium members.

We're keeping a close eye on the company. We usually like to see them produce a few quarterly reports before we really dig in.

The only issue I have is there is insane competition in the space. Our landing page program costs us..... one time $70 USD? And our lead generation is around $700 a year.

Wish costs around $2400 USD a year. They say most of their clients are small to medium sized businesses, but this is a hefty price to pay, especially because small to medium sized businesses typically go for the cheaper route. Unless this company provides something world beating in the case of analytics.

Huge EBITDA growth from the company, and some solid revenue growth as well. One to watch, but I'm cautiously optimistic about how they can provide a product at more than 3X the price we pay, and drive long standing growth.

To be honest, I might sign up for a trial and report back to you how good it is. I've dealt with this kind of stuff for a very long time, and we still deal with it every day.
