XBC.TO How to declare the loss

I own(ed) XBC.TO and purchased via Questrade. I do no believe I ever sold/wrote off my shares in the company (registered the loss for tax purposes). Can you let me know how I would go about ‘officially’ writing off the investment so I can eventually claim the loss?

The loss should be relatively easy to write off. You'd have your adjusted cost base of whatever you paid and the value is pretty much $0.
If I had bought $1000 of it I'd consider it worth $0 right now, so I'd be looking to claim a $1000 capital loss whenever I could.
