Your views on Algonquin present drop & Long term

Yes - since it remains on our Bull List we very much still like the long-term prospects of the company. If its on our list - we'd be comfortable taking a position. There are also zero concerns with their dividend and long-term growth prospects. The recent downtrend is in light of the big acquisition it is making and while we've seen some call the deal dilutive, it's not. True, the company is issuing shares but overall, the deal is expected to be immediately accretive to adjusted EPS per share. So in fact, the deal is the opposite of dilutive.

Of note, since we are i the middle of earnings season, AQN's report will be updated with our commentary once quarterly results are released. No official date yet, but estimated to be mid-November.
